Writing about yourself is always difficult. So, I put it off as long as I could. We live in an age of information and an era where people hold you accountable. So, I'll try not to bore you and keep it short. Please do not take that out of context. I founded Rare Elements based on the idea that people should genuinely be free. Free enough to be themselves expressively, regardless of their position in society. People should be free to live according to their beliefs unless their beliefs impede on others, ethically or morally. I embrace the idea that we (humans & nature) are all interconnected and interdependent on each other. So, who am I? I am a woman of many things. I am a mother of three and grandmother of five. I come from a large family on both sides. I am a retired veteran if you haven't noticed by my language, which I am still trying to shake seven years later to the date. I am a graduate of Public Service, which I love because it encompasses a collection of topics that I am passionate about (social issues), which is weird because never in a million years would I have thought I would become this person to be a lover of history. To serve must be my destiny because that is something I have always done personally and professionally in life without thought. So, I guess that would be my serve others. Many professional skills thanks to the military and my educational accomplishments. I just am. I always thought I would become a writer but that is not my sharpest skill although I have three books that I wrote after transitioning. I plan on publishing them when the time is right. They are finished for the most part. I wanted to get them out in 2019-2020 but I haven't released them yet. So, we will see. It will be interesting to hear from others.
